Five Indian Players Raise Objections to Afridi’s Inclusion in World Legends Championship
Five Indian players have raised objections over Shahid Afridi’s participation in the World Legendary Championship, presenting unreasonable demands and even threatening to boycott the match against Pakistan. As a result, the highly anticipated game between senior players from both nations is now at risk.
Once again, India has brought its politics of hate onto the sports field. In the second edition of the World Legendary Championship, five senior Indian cricketers, including Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh, have objected to Shahid Afridi’s presence.
These players have placed bizarre conditions before the WCL management, demanding that Afridi not be included in the India-Pakistan match. They have even insisted that Afridi not be allowed to enter the stadium or interact with fans.
The Indian players have threatened to pull out of the match if their demands regarding Shahid Afridi are not met.
Reports in Indian media suggest that the players are under intense pressure from their government.
It is important to note that the Indian players have stated they already took a major risk by participating in the series. They have now clearly submitted their unreasonable demands to the WCL management.
