Pakistan’s Junior Hockey Team will not be allowed to travel to India for the upcoming Junior Hockey World Cup, scheduled to take place in November and December.
The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has been informed that permission to participate in the prestigious tournament has been denied, following restrictions imposed after the Asia Cup.
Sources reveal that the PHF received official communication indicating that no Pakistani team will be permitted to travel to India this year. The Junior Hockey World Cup, set to run from November 28 to December 10, will be held in India, with Pakistan and India’s junior squads both competing in Group B.
The PHF is expected to issue an official statement soon regarding the matter. This decision marks a setback for Pakistan’s junior players, who aimed to showcase their talent on the international stage amid ongoing regional tensions.
