Gervonta Davis, one of boxing’s most electrifying talents, is now at the center of a troubling legal storm. An arrest warrant has been issued for the champion following an alleged October incident involving domestic violence, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping.

Authorities in Miami Gardens, with support from the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, are actively searching for Davis, sending shockwaves through the sports world.

The incident reportedly took place at a Miami Gardens gentlemen’s club, where Davis allegedly attacked his ex-girlfriend, physically restraining and assaulting her in multiple locations inside the venue before releasing her to coworkers.

Surveillance footage reportedly supports the victim’s account, intensifying the legal scrutiny surrounding the star athlete.

Miami Gardens Police held a news conference Wednesday, with executive officer Emmanuel Jeanty stating, “Domestic violence is a serious crime, and the Miami Gardens Police Department remains committed to holding offenders accountable and protecting victims.”

The alleged victim, Courtney Rossel, claims that Davis grabbed her by the back of her head and held her throat while forcefully dragging her through a stairwell, kitchen, and the club’s back exit before physically assaulting her in the parking garage. She suffered bruises on her left arm but was eventually released to her co-workers.

Rossel and Davis reportedly had an intimate relationship for five months, ending a month before the alleged attack. Rossel had blocked all communication with Davis following their breakup.

The arrest warrant comes just weeks after a civil lawsuit was filed by Rossel, and prior to Davis’ scheduled match with Jake Paul, which was canceled. The boxing world watches anxiously as authorities work to locate the fighter.

Davis’ legal history includes multiple domestic violence allegations and a 2023 hit-and-run case in Baltimore, resulting in house arrest and probation. It remains unclear whether this latest incident affects his probation.
