In a decisive move over the release of a fast bowler from the IPL, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has opted not to send its team to India for the T20 World Cup.
According to PCB sources, the BCB will inform the government of its decision. Following consultations, the government will issue an official statement, and the BCB will also update the ICC about the matter along with the government’s directive.
Sources suggest that the BCB may request its T20 World Cup matches to be relocated to Sri Lanka, as currently, Bangladesh’s matches are scheduled in India three in Kolkata and one in Mumbai.
