BRASILIA : Brazilian football star Neymar is set to become a father again, as he and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi have announced they are expecting another baby girl.

The 34-year-old forward confirmed the news in a video shared on YouTube, where the couple revealed that their upcoming child will be Neymar’s fourth daughter.

In the heartwarming clip, Neymar and Biancardi were joined by their children, including daughters Mavie and Mel, along with Neymar’s teenage son Davi from a previous relationship.

The family gathered outdoors in a playful setting before revealing pink paint, confirming the baby’s gender.

Biancardi also shared the announcement on Instagram, telling followers, “We’ve got some news to tell you.”

Neymar’s reaction to the reveal drew attention on social media, as he jokingly threw his hands in the air and said he was “going to go crazy.” He also quipped that he might have to form a band and call it “The Spice Girls.”

The new arrival will be Neymar’s fifth child. In addition to his children with Biancardi, he is also father to daughter Helena, born in 2024 from his relationship with model Amanda Kimberlly.

The announcement comes as Neymar continues recovering from a calf injury that has sidelined him during international football duties.

Earlier, Brazil star Neymar will miss his team’s opening World Cup match due to injury, head coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed Saturday.

Ancelotti said the 34-year-old forward will not be available for Brazil’s opener against Morocco after failing to recover from a calf injury that has kept him sidelined in recent weeks.

Neymar has not yet resumed full training as he continues rehabilitation, the coach added.
