As the Pittsburgh Steelers continue their training camp preparations, one of the team’s former offensive linemen has announced his retirement after an 11-year career in the National Football League.
On Friday, Jordan Schultz reported that former Steelers offensive lineman Andrus Peat has retired at age 32. Peat was a three-time Pro Bowler who also played for the New Orleans Saints and Las Vegas Raiders during his career.

Peat was selected by the Saints in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft and spent nine seasons with New Orleans from 2015 to 2023. He joined the Raiders as a free agent in 2024 before signing with the Steelers in 2025.
During his 11-year NFL career, Peat played in 132 games and made 106 starts. He appeared in six games for the Steelers last season and started three.
Although Peat’s time in Pittsburgh was brief, Steelers Wire congratulated him on a successful NFL career and wished him the best in the next chapter of his life.
