PAK vs NZ: Sarfaraz dropped three catches and missed one stumping chance

Sarfaraz Ahmed, the wicketkeeper-batsman for Pakistan, resumed his poor performance behind the wickets on Thursday during the second Test at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.

On the fourth day of the second Test, New Zealand’s second innings, Sarfaraz missed three catches.

In addition to the dropped catches, Sarfaraz also blew a stumping opportunity.

It is important to note that Sarfaraz had to wait three years, 11 months, and 15 days to put on Pakistan’s Test shirt once again after his previous game in January of 2019 prior to this series.

The former captain also performed admirably with the bat, scoring 53 runs in the second innings of the opening Test after smashing 86 in the first before being dismissed by Ajaz Patel.

The hitter scored 78 runs in the second Test before being dismissed following a contentious call.

Pakistan will need to score 319 runs to win the second Test of the series, according to New Zealand.

With fifty-plus scores from Tom Blundell, Michael Bracewell, and Tom Latham, the visitors proclaimed their second inning complete at 277-5.

With 127 runs for the fifth wicket, Bracewell and Blundell helped their team set a challenging goal.
