Islamabad: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the squads for the Pakistan Women’s cricket team ahead of their tour to South Africa, starting February 10 in Potchefstroom. The tour will serve as a key preparation for the ICC Women’s T20I World Cup 2026 in June.

Fatima Sana will continue to captain both squads, providing leadership and experience as Pakistan aim to make a strong impact on South African soil.

The squads combine seasoned players and emerging talent. Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Parvaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, and Tasmia Rubab have been included in both formats, ensuring stability and balance.

Uncapped players Saira Jabeen and Humna Bilal have earned their first T20I call-ups, while Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Tasmia Rubab, and Najiha Alvi strengthen the ODI squad after missing the last World Cup selection.

Diana Baig, Najiha Alvi, Sadaf Shamas, and Syeda Aroob Shah are exclusive to ODIs, while Humna Bilal, Saira Jabeen, Tuba Hassan, and Eyman Fatima are T20I specialists.

The team will be guided by mentor Wahab Riaz, supported by a skilled coaching panel including Imran Farhat (batting), Umaid Asif (fast bowling), Abdur Rehman (spin bowling), and Abdul Majeed (fielding).

The T20I series will be played from February 10 to 16 at Potchefstroom, Benoni, and Kimberley, with all matches as day-night fixtures. Pakistan will play a 50-over warm-up game on February 19 in Kimberley before the three-match ODI series, which runs from February 22 to March 1 in Bloemfontein, Centurion, and Durban.

The second ODI will also be a day-night game, while the remaining matches are scheduled as daytime fixtures.
