According to sources, the high-voltage encounter scheduled to be played in Colombo on February 15 faces uncertainty because of unexpected changes in weather. Fans are worried that rain could affect the match, putting a question mark over one of the tournament’s most awaited fixtures.

The meteorological department has forecast around a 50 percent chance of rain on match day, with approximately 2.1 millimeters of rainfall expected around 6pm. If rain continues, the match could be interrupted or even abandoned.

As per tournament rules, if the match ends without a result, both teams will be awarded one point each, which could impact the group standings.

Currently, Pakistan leads Group A with four points, while India considers the match crucial to strengthen its position in the race for the semi-finals.
