Defense Minister of Brazil Fernando Azevedo e Silva has on Monday stepped down from his post, the statement issued by the ministry said. “I leave with the certainty of a mission accomplished,” Brazil’s Defense Minister said in the note. He also extends thankfulness to the President for the opportunity to serve and said, “He leaves knowing the mission was accomplished.”
