A Russian artillery assault last Friday demolished the ancient home of Ukraine’s beloved poet and philosopher Hryhorii Skovoroda, as well as a museum dedicated to his work. Skovoroda lived in a small village near Kharkiv, distant from any apparent military objectives such as a railway or weapons store. The attack appears to have been planned, and it is not the
