The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has issued a decree forming a new government following the recent parliamentary elections. According to the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Hamad Jaber Ali Al-Sabah has been appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense in the new cabinet. Mohammad Abdul Latif Al-Fares has been appointed Minister of Oil, Power and Water.
