Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that we can meet the needs of the country through IT sector.

According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which special technology zones across the country were reviewed.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister directed to complete the steps for setting up of Special Technology Zones as soon as possible.

Presiding over the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that there is immense potential in the IT sector in Pakistan.

The Prime Minister said that maximum benefit could be derived from the IT sector while we could also export IT related products.

Imran Khan also said that in the past the IT sector was neglected but now the youth can benefit from the IT sector.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that many overseas Pakistanis are interested in investing in the IT sector while special technology zones will attract foreign investment in the country.

The meeting was attended by senior officers including Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Dr. Waqar Masood, Raza Baqir.
