Nvidia‘s RTX A2000 is the latest graphics card by Nvidia for optimized for small form factor computers. It’s intended at desktop PCs where space is limited. “Roughly the size of a cell phone, but thicker,” according to the company.

The Nvidia RTX A2000 GPU will be the company’s smallest Ampere-based card when its out in October; measuring just 2.7 inches height and 6.6 inches long. For its artificial intelligence capabilities, it uses second-generation RT cores and third-generation tensor cores.

While it’s geared for professionals who might benefit from the card’s AI and ray tracing capabilities for their work (think Autodesk and Blender), it wouldn’t have any trouble running the latest games.

3328 CUDA cores and 6GB of GDDR5 memory with EEC (Error Correction Code) clocked at 6001MHz power the RTX A2000 GPU, which provides eight teraflops of GPU performance. That should offer it a little more punch than entry-level RTX-30 gaming laptop GPUs like the RTX 3050.

In addition to its small size, the RTX A2000 is extremely power efficient, using only 70 watts. It’ll be available in workstations from Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, as well as as a standalone card for approximately $450 (around Rs.75,000 in a direct USD to PKR conversion).
