Poco has announced the worldwide release of its first smartwatch, the Poco Watch.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. IST on April 26. Poco also published a promotional poster on social media, which shows the watch’s square-shaped dial with curved edges.
The Poco Watch resembles Apple Watch smartwatches at first appearance. It will be released in conjunction with the Poco F4 GT gaming smartphone.
Meanwhile, the design and characteristics of the Poco Watch have been published ahead of the formal introduction by an online newspaper.
Poco Watch has a square AMOLED display with a viewing area of 1.6 inches, according to the source. For comparison, the Apple Watch (41mm) has a 1.9-inch viewing area.
A button on the right spine helps users navigate selections across the UI.
Users will be able to scroll across the screen to select options. The watch is allegedly rendered in three colors: black, blue, and white.
It employs a classic metal-buckle strap-on method, which some buyers may consider antiquated for a smartwatch.
Poco Watch would be able to measure heart rate and blood oxygen (SpO2) levels, according to the report. This watch will reportedly have a 225mAh battery and will weigh roughly 31 grams.
39.1 x 34.4 x 9.98mm could be the overall dimensions. Finally, the smartwatch could have a water resistant rating of 5 ATM.
