Apple, the music streaming service provider based in Cupertino, does not offer a free, ad-supported plan like its competitor Spotify on Apple Music. However, don’t worry, as by using the workaround method we’re discussing, you can get a one-month free trial in certain countries before subscribing to the service.

Furthermore, if you haven’t subscribed to Apple Music yet, you can take advantage of a promotion that has been available through the Shazam app for years, which allows you to enjoy three months of unlimited access to Apple Music for free.

As per Gadgets 360, these steps were verified on an iPhone running iOS 17 and a free two-month trial that concludes on April 14. However, you should be able to access up to a three-month promotion on an older version of Apple’s smartphone operating system.

It’s important to note that Shazam’s webpage clearly indicates that the promotion will end on March 31, but you can still get three months free through an alternative method where you need to scan the QR code on Apple’s website.

In addition, after the free trial ends, you will be billed a monthly fee of INR 99, so it’s recommended to cancel your subscription as soon as possible and continue to access Apple Music for the remainder of the trial period.

• Click on Redeem or Verify your identity
• Double press the power button to authenticate using Face ID or Touch ID
• Click on Continue to Apple Music
