Google releases Gemini-1.5-Pro-002 for paid subscribers
Google has been continuously refining its AI chatbot, Gemini, since its launch....
OpenAI has launched a new interface called “Canvas,” providing ChatGPT users with a fresh way to interact with the AI chatbot. According to a blog post, users can access “Canvas” by selecting the option labelled “ChatGPT 4o with Canvas” from the model dropdown menu.
The Canvas interface opens in a separate window next to the regular chat window, creating a workspace ideal for writing and coding projects. Users can activate Canvas by either selecting “GPT-4o with Canvas” or typing “use Canvas” when they need a dedicated space for longer outputs or complex coding tasks.
Canvas enables collaboration between users and ChatGPT, allowing them to ask the AI to focus on and correct specific parts of its output. This functionality is similar to that of Claude Artifact, another OpenAI tool that allows users to modify individual lines of generated code.
OpenAI has also trained its AI model to recognize when a chat prompt should trigger a new Canvas rather than just responding in the regular chat window.
The new interface has begun rolling out to ChatGPT Plus and Team users worldwide, with plans to make it available to Enterprise and Edu users next week, and eventually to all ChatGPT Free users once it exits beta.
