Google Gemini App Now Available for iPhone Users

Google has officially launched a standalone Gemini app for iOS, providing iPhone users with easy access to its advanced AI capabilities. This move aims to position Gemini as a competitor to other AI services such as Apple Intelligence and OpenAI’s ChatGPT. The app is now available for free on the App Store in 35 languages worldwide.

Brian Marquardt, Senior Director of Product Management for Gemini Experiences, said, “We’re launching a dedicated Gemini app for iPhone. Now, you’ll be able to have easy access to Google’s personal AI assistant, right on your iPhone, free of charge.”

Previously accessible via the Google app and web browsers, the Gemini app for iPhone now offers a more dedicated platform for users to interact with Google’s AI features, which were already available on Android devices.

The iOS version of Gemini includes a conversational AI experience and Gemini Live, which allows users to engage in human-like interactions with the chatbot. The feature, accessible through a sparkle icon in the bottom-right corner, is available in 12 languages, including English, Spanish, French, and Hindi, with plans to add more languages.

Additionally, Gemini users can personalize the AI’s voice by selecting from 10 distinct voice options, aligning with ChatGPT’s Advanced Voice Mode.
