Samsung Galaxy A36 to come with improved front camera and more
Samsung is set to launch a new addition to its Galaxy A-series lineup with the Galaxy A36, which will succeed the Galaxy A35. While the official launch date has not yet been confirmed, recent leaks offer exciting details about the upcoming device.
One of the standout features of the Galaxy A36 is its upgraded front camera. According to a report from Galaxy Club, the A36 will sport a 12 MP selfie camera, which is a slight downgrade from the 13 MP sensor used in its predecessor. However, despite the lower pixel count, improvements in image quality are expected, promising better selfies for users.
The rear camera setup will include a 50 MP main sensor, similar to the Galaxy A35. Additionally, the A36 is likely to feature a 5 MP macro sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, offering a versatile photography experience.
As for other specifications, a Geekbench listing has revealed that the Galaxy A36 will come with a thin body, measuring 162.6 x 77.9 x 7.4mm. It will be powered by either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and will include 6GB of RAM. The device will run on Android 15 and feature an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security.
While Samsung has not confirmed all the details yet, the Galaxy A36 looks promising as a mid-range device with solid camera upgrades and performance enhancements.
