Oppo has introduced its new budget wireless earbuds, the Oppo Enco Air 5, in China. The earbuds are priced at around $29 and are mainly designed for users looking for active noise cancellation, long battery life, and useful everyday features.
The Oppo Enco Air 5 supports up to 52dB active noise cancellation across a 5,000Hz frequency range.
The earbuds also use a triple microphone system to separate the user’s voice during calls. Oppo says the earbuds can maintain vocal clarity in wind speeds of up to 25km/h.
The earbuds use 12mm dynamic drivers, which are designed to provide stronger bass and clearer highs.
They also include a 10-band custom EQ for personalized sound tuning. The Enco Air 5 supports AAC and SBC codecs, spatial audio, and dedicated gaming sound effects.
For gaming and video playback, the earbuds include a 47ms low-latency mode.
Each earbud weighs 4.3 grams. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, which means they can handle sweat during workouts or light rain. The charging case weighs 43.5 grams. The Oppo Enco Air 5 comes in White, Black and Purple color options.
For connectivity, the Enco Air 5 supports Bluetooth 6.1. The earbuds also support dual device connection, allowing users to switch audio between a phone and a tablet.
Oppo has included in-ear detection, remote camera control, and customizable touch controls. The earbuds also support AI-powered translation for 24 languages.
With the charging case, total battery life reaches up to 54 hours. With ANC turned on, battery life drops to 6.5 hours for the earbuds and 27 hours in total. The earbuds also support fast charging. A 10-minute charge provides up to four hours of playback.
