Welcome to Oppo‘s latest ColorOS. The global beta of ColorOS 14 is currently being released in select regions, and the stable version is scheduled to reach the Oppo Find N2 Flip in mid-November. Discover the new features in version 14.
Let’s begin with the enhanced Trinity Engine. ROM Vitalization compresses app and file data, potentially saving up to 20GB of storage on a standard phone. RAM vitalization replaces Android’s RAM mechanism with a more efficient one, particularly effective in maintaining background apps in RAM. The third and last component, CPU vitalization, optimizes the chipset’s performance and power consumption.

ColorOS now includes a smart charging system utilizing an AI algorithm to adjust the charging current based on your phone usage and activities, aiming to minimize battery wear and tear.
Picture Keeper is now part of the privacy features, requiring additional permission to access specific photos and videos on your device. Additionally, Smart Image Matting can now remove multiple individuals and animals from a photo or a still frame in an image.
The latest feature, Smart Touch, assists in choosing text, images, and videos from both native and third-party apps and gathering them in the File Dock. This File Dock serves as a clipboard, allowing you to store content for future use. Importantly, it is synchronized across ColorOS devices, meaning items saved with Smart Touch on one device, such as an Oppo Pad, are accessible on your phone as well.
Snapchat users now receive special attention, with the ability to place a shortcut on the lock screen for quicker access. Additionally, a Snapchat widget is available for the Shelf, offering quick updates on new messages, statuses, and even the location of your closest friends.
Oppo refreshed the appearance and user interface with refined, standardized elements. The Aqua Dynamic design, consisting of familiar bubbles, capsules, and panels, emerges from the status bar to present functionality with minimal distraction.
Furthermore, the Aquamorgraphic Coloring System now paints both the status bar and on-screen content, selecting the most appropriate hues based on the time of day.
Oppo introduced a fresh Go Green style for the Always On Display. Additionally, Bitmoji stickers are now available, automatically updating throughout the day depending on your location, activities, weather, and other contextual factors.
