Samsung is preparing to partner closely with Google to incorporate Gemini AI into its Galaxy devices, particularly with the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. Rumors suggest that Gemini will have access to key Samsung apps, including Samsung Notes, Calendar, and more.
Previously, Samsung’s collaboration with Google focused on the Circle to Search AI feature for the Galaxy S24 series, but the focus seems to be shifting to Gemini this time.
Tipster shared screenshots on X (formerly Twitter), revealing Gemini extensions for Samsung’s Notes, Calendar, and Reminder apps. With user consent, Gemini is expected to access these preinstalled Samsung apps to assist in answering queries, performing tasks, and more.
For Samsung Calendar, Gemini will reportedly enable the creation, editing, and deletion of events, including generating events from images. In the Samsung Reminder app, Gemini could create, edit, or delete reminders, although some features may be limited.
Samsung Notes is also set to benefit from Gemini integration, allowing users to create new notes, summarize existing ones, and retrieve notes using descriptions or titles.
These features are anticipated to launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series as part of Samsung’s new wave of Galaxy AI functionalities, with the integration tied to Google’s app ecosystem.
