India beat Pakistan by 10 wickets and booked their spot in the ICC U19 World Cup 2020 final.

Two arch-rivals Pakistan and India were facing each other in the Semi Final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2020  at Potchefstroom, South Africa.

In the first semifinal, India easily achieved the target of 173 runs without loss in the 36th over.

India’s Yashaswi Jeswal scored 105 and Dwankash Saxena scored an unbeaten 59.

Pakistan decided to bat first after winning the toss and in the second over, the hero of the last match, Mohammed Huraira returned to the pavilion by 4 runs.

Skipper Rohail Nazir and opener Haider Ali supported the team and made a partnership of 52 runs.

However, Haider Ali left  Rohail Nazir after scoring half-century and then the other wickets continued to fall.

Qasim Akram made 9 runs and Mohammad Harris made some resistance with 21, but he too could made it and returned to the pavilion with an overall score of 156.

Skipper Rohail Nazir lost his wicket after making 62 runs, while Irfan Khan 3, Abbas Afridi and Tahir Hussain 2, 2 while Amir Ali scored 1.

Pakistan’s entire team was all out for 172 runs in the 44th over.

India’s Sushant Mishra took three wickets, Karthik Tyagi and Ravi Bishanoi took two wickets each while Ankolekar and Jeswal took one wicket each.

Yashaswi Jeswal was the man of the match  by scoring an incredible century.
Now Pakistan will face third-seeded team from the other semifinal defeat.

It’s the 13th Edition of ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup since 1988. So far India has been the most successful team with four titles in 2000, 2008, 2012, and 2018. Having won a total of 58 ODIs out of 77 by 2018 World Cup, India’s winning percentage remained 76.31%.

Whereas Pakistan won the title in 2004 and 2006. By 2018, it recorded a 71.62% winning percentage with 53 victories in 75 games.
