Coronavirus pandemic has spread all over the world and these celebrities have tested positive for the contagious disease.

Popular Japanese comedian Ken Shimura has died from the coronavirus, aged 70, becoming Japan’s first known celebrity victim of the disease.

Shimura had been treated at a Tokyo hospital and died on Sunday, according to reports.

He attracted fans of all generations with his slapstick comedy and funny faces.

He was diagnosed with pneumonia after contracting the coronavirus.

He later hospitalized on March 20 after developing a fever and breathing troubles, and then put on on a ventilator.

Joe Diffie

Joe Diffie, a country music singer, died Sunday from complications of coronavirus.

Joe Diffie known for his lighthearted odes to country life that reached mainstream success in the 1990s.

A 61-year-old native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Diffie, made 13 albums and had more than 20 Top 10 hits to his credit.

Sporting a mustache and mullet, his boot-scooting crowd-pleasers included the hits, “If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets)” and “Honky Tonk Attitude.”

NBA broadcaster Doris Burke

American sports announcer, Doris Burke is another one of the celebrities who contracted the virus. She revealed that she had tested positive with the deadly COVID 19 pandemic.

Doris Burke said she first felt symptoms on March 11, which was the same day in which Gobert tested positive.

At the time, NBA analyst Burke was covering a game, and said she remembers having a pounding headache and feeling tired.

She explained that it started off as a headache and tiredness, and that her main symptom throughout the process was extreme fatigue.

The heir to the British throne Prince Charles has been diagnosed positive for the novel coronavirus. However, his wife, Camilla, is negative. A statement from Clarence House reads, “The Prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” “The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus. By government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland. He wrote the caption, “This morning I tested positive for Covid 19,” “I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic.”

Sabrina Dhowre Elba

Idris Elba’s wife Sabrina Dhowre Elba was also diagnosed with coronavirus.

She revealed the news to Oprah Winfrey for Oprah Talks COVID-19 on Apple TV+. She said, “As soon as I heard that Idris was potentially exposed, I was on my way anyway and I wanted to be with him. I think that’s an instinct as a wife; you just want to go and take care,”

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson

Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson tested positive for the virus. Hanks shared the news on his Instagram. He wrote, “We felt a bit tired like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too,”

“To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive.”

Hanks and Wilson are staying in a rented home in Australia for five days.
