Japanese woman holds Guinness World Record for the oldest gaming YouTuber
A 90-year old Japanese woman Hamako Mori holds Guinness World Record for being the oldest gaming streamer.
Mori has been showing off her gaming skills since 2015 after she launched her own YouTube channel.
According to CNN, Hamako Mori has over 270,000 YouTube subscribers on her channel ‘Gamer Grandma’ and has been a continuous gamer for 39 years.
The Grandma has admitted to stay up late till 2AM to play her favourite video game Grand Theft Auto.
“After living for this long, I feel more than ever that playing games for this long was the right choice. I am truly enjoying my life,” said Mori.
The 90-year-old has a collection of consoles released over the decades. The first one she owned was Cassette Vision from 1981. “It looked like so much fun, and I thought it’s not fair if only children played it,” said the Japanese woman.
