A man, 33, has been charged with murder after an 80-year-old woman was stabbed to death at her East London home

A MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH MURDER after a pensioner was discovered stabbed to death in her own home.

Shotera Bibi, 80, was murdered at her home on Landseer Avenue in East London at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Cops, paramedics, and London’s Air Ambulance all responded to the scene in Manor Park, but the senior was unable to be saved.

Following the atrocity, officers initiated an intensive investigation and scoured the surrounding region.

A guy in his 30s was apprehended and placed into police custody nearby, while Ms Bibi’s next of kin were notified.

She died as a consequence of stab wounds to the chest, according to a post-mortem study.

Officers, paramedics, and the London Air Ambulance all raced to the scene in Manor Park, but the senior could not be rescued.

Following the atrocity, authorities launched a thorough investigation and combed the surrounding area.

A man in his 30s was captured and detained nearby, while Ms Bibi’s nearest of kin were alerted.

According to a post-mortem examination, she died as a result of knife wounds to the chest.

“At the scene, she was pronounced dead.

“Detectives from Specialist Crime (Homicide) lead the Met’s inquiry.”
