Cops are looking for a 'armed' female accomplice, 24, of a 22-year-old Texas man accused with murdering a 16-year-old girl who was discovered'shot dead.'

After a guy shot a teen dead in Texas, cops are looking for a female accomplice who they suspect is armed.

Cody Lee Arnold, 22, was charged with murder after the corpse of the deceased was discovered on Sunday.

Cops discovered the unnamed adolescent with a gunshot wound on a home in West Jefferson County.

Arnold was apprehended at his Beaumont home on Saturday, but detectives are looking for Chelsea Shipp, 24, who they think is armed.

A murder warrant has been issued for Shipp.

According to police, she was last seen driving a 2017 White Dodge single cab truck with a Texas licence plate.

As police continue their investigations, it is unclear how the two suspects know each other.

She is said to be well-known in Galveston, Chambers, and West Jefferson counties.

According to police, she has tattoos on her bicep and forearm.
