A MAN suspected of killing a lady after meeting her on a Tinder date allegedly had sex with her corpse.

Danueal Drayton, 31, has been accused with strangling and assaulting Samantha Stewart, a 29-year-old nurse from Queens, at her house following their date in July 2018.

According to authorities, Drayton used the woman’s credit card to purchase an airline ticket to California.

After being extradited from Los Angeles, he was arraigned in Queens Supreme Court on an 18-count indictment. He is charged with murder, sexual misconduct, and grand larceny, among other things.

“This was a heinous murder that should make every individual who uses a dating app scared,” Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz said.

“The victim was misled into going on a date with the defendant, who pretended to be a charmer online but was actually a sexual predator.”

Drayton was born in New Haven, Connecticut. Prosecutors claim he killed Stewart when the two returned to her house on July 16.

According to the indictment, Drayton reportedly had sex with Stewart’s body after the murder before putting her in a blanket in her bedroom and fleeing with her credit cards.

Drayton reportedly fled the woman’s house in a white vehicle, which was discovered abandoned the next day at JFK Airport. Prosecutors claim he travelled to Los Angeles after using the victim’s credit card to purchase a ticket.

A week later, he was arrested after being discovered in a North Hollywood hotel room reportedly detaining a lady against her will.

Stewart was discovered by her brothers on July 17, with all of her teeth knocked out, according to investigators.

She was employed at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset before to her death.

“This family is deserving of justice,” Katz added.

“With this criminal now back in our custody, he will be held accountable for his claimed conduct.”

Drayton stands up to 25 years to life in jail if convicted. His next court appearance is scheduled on May 25.

He’s accused of second-degree murder, grand larceny, petty larceny, sexual misconduct, identity theft, unauthorised possession of personal identifying information, and criminal possession of stolen items.

According to the New York Daily News, Drayton acknowledged to murdering at least six additional individuals when being interrogated by authorities in Los Angeles, two in Connecticut and four in New York.

However, investigators have not been able to locate evidence to back up these assertions.
