Niagra Falls change into Winter Wonderland
Niagra Falls change into Winter Wonderland. The inhabitants of the United States and Canada have been coping with cold storms that could be the worst of the century since Tuesday.
Locals are also feasting their eyes on this movie-like landscape, flooding their social media platforms with images of the frozen waterfall, and they aren’t going anywhere.
The 167-foot-tall waterfall is sweeping the internet faster than the blizzard itself. Niagara Falls was already a sight to behold, but the unprecedented blizzards and storms have transformed the waterfall into a winter paradise.

Winter Wonderland Niagara Falls has been partially frozen as the ‘Blizzard Of The Century‘ continues to linger in the United States. But how exactly?
Yes, because just the outside surface is frozen, while Niagara Falls continues to be a waterfall with 3,160 tonnes of water flowing over every second and falling at a rate of 32 feet per second.

This has happened before, as ice could hinder the flow of water further upstream prior to 1964. The volume of water on the US side of the Falls froze as a result.
After this occurred five times, steel ice booms were built to avoid excessive ice accumulations.
During frigid winters, ice and snow frequently develop over the Niagara River at the base of the falls, forming an “ice bridge” that authorities have barred people from walking on.
On February 4, 1912, three persons were killed when the ice broke and flung them into the Niagara River.
While the rest of the world was celebrating Christmas over the weekend, folks in western New York were paralysed by the terrible storms that engulfed the United States and Canada, dubbed the “blizzard of the century” by officials.
The blizzard has seized the United States for several days, causing power outages, travel delays, and, sadly, deaths.
Social media has been flooded with reports and photographs verifying the calamitic conditions, particularly in Buffalo. Bodies have been found in vehicles and beneath snow banks.
