Flight announcements can be tiresome. A SpiceJet pilot from Delhi to Srinagar recently recited it as a Hindi poem.

The clip went viral. Eepsita (@Eepsita) tweeted on December 16: “In a @flyspicejet flight from Delhi to Srinagar & omg, the captain killed it! They started off in English, but I only began recording later. Idk if this is a new marketing track or it was the captain himself, but this was so entertaining & endearing!”.

Her tweet had almost 1,000,000 views. Twitter user: “He wanted to become comedian but ended up becoming pilot .🤭”.

Take a look at the video below:

Another Twitter user criticized the airline, writing, “When your planes have so many technical snags, people using that Airline definitely need to have sense of humour to keep flying XD They might be just testing that!”

Two months ago, the airline garnered criticism after a smoke-filled cabin forced an emergency landing in Hyderabad. A viral video from October 12 shows a cabin service member asking passengers to “bend down and stand out” as smoke fills the space. Passengers said oxygen masks weren’t deployed despite the smoke.
