The incident took place in China, and the driver’s actions outraged the internet. Reddit users posted the video, and social media users are utterly revolted.

The currently popular video was posted on a Reddit page. A female employee is seen putting gas in a man’s fancy car in the 50-second film. She requested payment after finishing. The man flung some notes on the ground rather than gently handing her the cash.

After a brief moment of disbelief, the woman picked up the notes off the ground as the man drove away. She even appeared to be wiping away tears.

The man’s boorish behaviour was widely condemned by social media users when the video quickly went viral online. For the female employee, they felt sadness as well.

“This is really depressing. How do people live with themselves treating someone this way after seeing her wipe away her tears?” Someone wrote.

Another user added, “Sociopaths. neither regret nor empathy.”
