The viral video, which IAS officer Awanish Sharan shared on Twitter, has infuriated a lot of people. In the video, a man and a woman are shown swinging a small stray puppy brutally like a toy while holding it by its hind legs. In an effort to frighten several monkeys away, the man is also holding the dog. He may even be seen laughing with the woman while holding the small animal upside down.

The video has drawn a lot of criticism from Twitter users. Many people condemned the guy and woman in the comments area and called for harsh punishment for them. Many people wanted to know how the dog was doing right now. Others noted how inhumane and cruel some people can be to treat a dog in this way.

“Why the hell not. All three of them—this girl, that guy, and the person holding the camera—should be taken into custody,” a Twitter user opined. Another person added, “They need to be taught social values.”
