Hindutva ideology threatens global law and sovereignty, FO spokesperson

The Foreign Office of Pakistan issued a strong condemnation of recent remarks by Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh regarding Pakistan’s Sindh province, calling them “delusional and dangerously revisionist.”

In an official statement, the FO spokesperson Tahir Andrabi expressed grave concern that Singh’s comments reflect an “expansionist Hindutva mindset”, which challenges established international norms and violates the sovereignty of states.

The statement underscored that such rhetoric constitutes a clear breach of international law and undermines the inviolability of recognized borders.

The Ministry urged Indian leaders, including Mr. Singh, to refrain from provocative statements that risk destabilizing regional peace. Instead, Pakistan called on India to prioritize the protection and security of its minority communities.

Furthermore, the FO spokesperson linked the issue to the broader Kashmir dispute, asserting that “credible steps” consistent with UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people must be taken.

Pakistan reiterated its commitment to resolving bilateral disputes peacefully, based on international law, while emphasizing its resolve to defend its security, freedom, and sovereignty.
