The nation and its people have exceptional resiliency to cope with such challenging lives while attempting to advance and flourish without ever giving up. Little Naghma, age 8, heard this tale when she went to a camp run by the animal rescue and rehabilitation facility ACF.

Naghma, who is only 8 years old, is the only source of income in her family. She transports wood through Karachi in a donkey cart. She visited an ACF camp to purchase a new donkey cart and leash.

Every day she commutes to work with her 7-year-old brother. At the tender age of six, she began working; it has now been two years. No one assists in this world, according to Naghma. Her donkey had been well-cared for by her. Here is her account:
