A nice barber shocked a homeless man by giving him a free haircut.

Joshua Santiago of Empowering Cuts encountered the man on the street and transformed him completely.

He provides free makeovers to rough sleepers in the United States.

He wrote, “Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves.”

The metamorphosis can be seen in a video of the man gazing away from the camera with a blank stare while seated in a chair inside Joshua’s mobile salon.

The man’s tired face was obscured by an overgrown beard and a thick moustache.

Joshua claimed that the man had not washed his hair in days and that he was determined to give him a free haircut.

The destitute man chose a buzz cut.

The man appeared considerably younger after the haircut.

The video quickly went popular on social media. Many netizens praised the man’s new look, while others complimented Joshua for his thoughtful gesture.

“He looks 20 years younger!” commented one user. “What a difference a haircut can make,” wrote another.

“He ends up looking like some random character from a game, cool,” said a third. Another person added, “You’re such a blessing to these men, I drive public transport and was recently told by a homeless man that he feels overlooked and is used to it. It broke my heart, so thank you for making them feel cared about and looked upon.”
