With his quick action, a chief constable of the Government Railway Police (GRP) saved the lives of people who slipped while attempting to disembark a moving train. At the central train station in Kanpur, the tragedy happened. The same CCTV footage was shared by the UP Police on their official Instagram account.

Saluting HC Shailendra of the #UPGRP for his bravery in saving a woman from slipping down the railroad track at the Kanpur Central Railway Station. The UP Police posted a video on Instagram warning people not to get on or off a moving train because it may be fatal. They included the name of policeman Rahul Srivastav in their article as well.

A young child is seen standing on the platform in the Instagram video posted by the UP Police. A woman and a child can be seen attempting to get off a moving train a little while later. She stumbles, and they both fall to the stage. They were then narrowly prevented from plunging farther beneath a moving train by an official with the UP GRP who went by the name of HC Shailendra.
