The report described a scary situation where McDougal tried to take off the pants of an 11-year-old girl while they were in bed together. He even called her by his ex-wife’s name, according to the girl’s mother.

Originally set for trial in June 2008, Steven later admitted guilt to lesser charges in September 2008, leading to a two-year prison term.

Besides this, McDougal has had other run-ins with the law. He was sentenced to three years in 2003 for assaulting a public servant in Liberty County and to four years in 2010 for a violent attack with a deadly weapon in Harris County, where Houston is.

McDougal got out of prison in September 2022 after serving time for using a vehicle without permission in Liberty County. He also had a jail stint for the same offense in Harris County in July 2009, according to records.
