Sydney Brooke Simpson, born on October 17, 1985, is known as the daughter of NFL Hall of Famer OJ Simpson and Nicole Brown Simpson.

In 1994, when Sydney was eight, her mother Nicole and her friend Ron Goldman were tragically murdered. Sydney was reportedly asleep at home during the incident. Her father, O.J. Simpson, was accused but acquitted in the highly publicized “trial of the century” in 1995.

After the trial, Sydney chose to stay away from the public eye. By 2000, she and her brother Justin moved to Florida for a more private life and have maintained a low profile since.

O.J. Simpson passed away from cancer on April 10th, surrounded by his family in Las Vegas. He had been battling prostate cancer since February.

Sydney graduated from Boston University in 2010 with a sociology degree. She then lived in Atlanta before moving to St. Petersburg, Florida. Since 2010, she has worked as a Special Events Manager at Canoe Restaurant. Additionally, she has been involved with J.M.I. Investment Properties LLC since 2014. Although not a real estate agent, Sydney owns a house and two duplexes in Florida.

Justin Simpson, her brother, also works in real estate. He attended Florida State University and began his career at Muffley & Associates Real Estate. He later joined Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate in Florida in 2015 and now works at DHM Real Estate Group.

Sydney’s romantic life has attracted media attention. In 2017, she was photographed with St. Petersburg City Council Member Robert Blackmon. Despite rumors, Blackmon clarified they were just good friends.

In 2005, Sydney was arrested for fighting at her brother’s basketball game. She was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest but was later released without any charges being pressed.
