  • A massive cardboard sculpture has been unveiled at Bridlington Spa in East Yorkshire.
  • The animated sculpture is the largest cardboard sculpture in the world.
  • It has dimensions of 23 feet and 3.3 inches wide, 55 feet long, and 25 feet and 7.5 inches tall.

The Trojan horse from Homer’s The Odyssey was used as the inspiration for a giant cardboard sculpture that broke the Guinness World Record for the largest cardboard sculpture in the world.

At Bridlington Spa in East Riding of Yorkshire, England, the Animated Objects Theatre Company, which specialises in live performances as well as community events and workshops, constructed a Trojan horse with dimensions of 23 feet and 3 inches wide, 55 feet and 3.39 inches long, and 25 feet and 7.5 inches tall. The horse was displayed in front of the spa.

The Odyssey: An Epic Adventure on the Yorkshire Coast is the current project being worked on by the theatrical group, and the cardboard horse is a component of it.

The Yorkshire Coast Business Improvement District is providing financial assistance to the project.
