PMD Predicts Cold nights & Dry weather in Karachi

Weather in Karachi is cold and dry today. Westerly winds in the city cause dry weather with cold nights.

According to Pakistan Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature recorded today was 12 Degrees Celsius, and can range from 10 to 14 Degrees Celsius till the next two days.

However, the maximum temperature can be between 25 to 27 Degrees Celsius till 5th February.

Apart from that, weather can be dry and cold in several parts of the country. But PMD forecast drizzling and snowfall in northern areas, resulting in cold nights.

Snowfall can occur in districts and areas such as Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.

Moderate fog is predicted from Pindi Bhatian to Faisalabad and to Multan.

Minimum temperatures recorded in different areas yesterday (in Degrees Celsius) are Skardu (-21), Astore (-14), Bagrot (-10), Para Chinar (-9), Kalam (-8), Hunza (-7), Gilgit (-4), and Malam Jabba (-3).

Galiyat Snow Festival 2020

Galiyat Festival 2020 at Nathiagali and other places at Galiyat is finally coming to an end.

The three-day event started on 31st January and came to an end on2nd Feb 2020.

A great number of tourists gathered at the place to attend the festival.

Galiyat snow Festival was organized by Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Galiyat Development Authority.

Several exciting activities were held in the festival, including snow-tubing, skiing, hiking, trekking, bonfire, tug-of-war, snow football, campaign, vlog competition, snow cartoons, jeep rally, food stalls and so on.
