Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is likely to witness another day of hot and humid weather, with elevated humidity levels expected to intensify the feel of heat across the city.
The weather department reported that the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.5°C, while humidity levels stood at 75 per cent, contributing to muggy conditions. The current temperature in the city has been recorded at 31°C.
Meteorologists forecast that the maximum temperature is expected to range between 35°C and 37°C during the day.
However, due to increased moisture in the atmosphere, residents are likely to experience a higher level of heat intensity than the actual temperature.
Southwesterly winds are currently blowing at a speed of 12 kilometres per hour, maintaining humid weather conditions in various parts of the city.
The PMD further stated that the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy throughout the day, although no rainfall is anticipated in Karachi.
