Three dead in US gun violence

A man shot and killed two women in a church parking lot in Ames, Iowa on Thursday, police said.

The incident happened shortly after President Joe Biden made a keynote lecture on gun violence in the aftermath of the Buffalo, New York, massacre.

One victim got the treatment and was discharged from a local hospital, while another was taken to Milwaukee Hospital. There have been no arrests.
