United Nations, Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres will come to Ukraine this week. On Thursday, he will visit Lviv to address bilateral matters, and on Friday, he will fly to Odesa to discuss the grain deal, according to the statement

According to the statements made by spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric, Guterres will participate in a meeting with the leaders of Ukraine and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoan to explore the inner workings of the Black Sea grain deal. The discussion will be trilateral.

According to the United Nations, he also intends to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a one-on-one setting.

In July, Ukraine and Russia reached an agreement that would permit the resumption of essential grain exports from Ukrainian Black Sea ports under the terms of a pact that was mediated by the United Nations and Turkey.

On Saturday, Guterres will depart for his trip to Istanbul. According to Dujarric, the Russian government is aware of the travel arrangements for the secretary-general.
