During the course of the searches that were carried out in the yard in Birmingham, the body of a child was found.

West Midlands Police stated last week that they were inspecting the garden of the home in Clarence Road, Handsworth, after receiving information suggesting there had been a death there in the year 2020.

This information prompted the police to begin their investigation into the garden. Due on the information provided, the police decided to undertake the search.

On the 9th of December, a man in his forties and a woman in her forties were brought into custody on suspicion of causing or aiding the death of a child and, in a second event, of deliberately neglecting a child.

Both of these allegations relate to distinct incidents.

Both have been accused of shirking the obligations that were placed on them.
