Israel introduces discriminatory legislation against Palestinians
The Israeli General assembly has passed discriminatory laws against Palestinians in favor of Jewish settlers in the West Bank as a result of Netanyahu’s reelection as prime minister.
Overnight, Israel’s parliament started voting to revive a law that would subject Jewish settlers to civil law in the occupied West Bank while their Palestinian neighbors would be subject to military courts.
13 lawmakers voted against this black law, while 58 members voted in support of it. The assembly will hear this law twice more before voting on it, as required by the constitution.
If this rule is put into effect, the 475,000 Jewish settlers who are currently unlawfully residing in the West Bank would have the same rights as Israeli residents, and Palestinian citizens will resemble slaves for the invading Jews.
According to Yariv Levin, the steadfastly Jewish Justice Minister in the Netanyahu administration, we have started to restore our right to the West Bank as well as the entirety of Israel. He declared his genuine resolve to strengthen Jewish settler settlements.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the goal of this discriminatory apartheid law—which violates international law—is to drive Palestinians from their historic homes by bolstering Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank.
