Russian air defenses shot down a Ukrainian drone on Sunday night as it was travelling toward the southwest Russian city of Voronezh, according to local authorities cited by the Russian state news agency on Monday.

“Last night, air defenses detected and downed a small reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle approaching Voronezh, which had been launched from Ukraine,” a statement from the regional government reads, as quoted by .

According to Media, who cited the regional government as their source, there were no reports of any casualties or damages.

The city of Voronezh may be found in the southwestern part of Russia.
