At least 17 individuals, including the interior minister of Ukraine, were killed in a helicopter accident in the Brovary area of Kyiv.

The Ukrainian Security Services (SBU) have “initiated a pre-trial enquiry” into the incident.

The SBU said on Facebook that “several versions of the tragedy are being considered,” including “violation of flight rule, technical malfunction of the helicopter, deliberate actions to destroy the helicopter.”

No other Ukrainian officials have made any claims about Russian participation in this tragedy. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had already described the accident as a “tragedy.”
