Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s visit to Mariupol is captured on video by Russian authorities.

In it, he can be seen flying into Mariupol Airport in a helicopter, touring the city in a car, and conversing with locals who appear astonished by his presence.

In the video, Putin and Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin discuss the plans for rebuilding the city that Russia levelled while they are both seated in the driver’s seat.

The two talk about the idea of constructing a new hospital in Mariupol. Russia bombed a children’s and maternity hospital in March of last year when pregnant women and medical personnel were present.

“There will be an ambulance, and all the most modern laboratories will be there,” Khusnullin says in the video.

“Everything will be fine,” Putin responds.
