A Russian president’s TV propagandist warns that a ‘nuclear war is approaching,’ in which only ‘mutants’ will survive.
As the crisis in Ukraine drags on, Vladimir Solovyov’s remarks are the latest nuclear threat issued by Russian media against the West.
During his Russia1 show, he stated that the world is facing “bloody pages of world history,” and that everything is “going in that direction.”

‘I hope we’ll make it through this,’ he continued. Only a few mutants in Lake Baikai [in Siberia] will survive if things continue to go as they are.
‘We cannot stand by as Russian long-range artillery flattens cities and kills innocent civilians,’ Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted on Monday.
‘The UK will provide multiple-launch rocket systems to the Ukrainian Armed Forces so that they may adequately fight the ongoing Russian attack.’

Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, wrote on Twitter on Monday that he had a chat with Mr. Johnson during which he ‘addressed the topic of intensifying work on security guarantees.’
‘We’re searching for measures to prevent the food crisis and unlock ports together with [Britain],’ he added.
