As per the ministry’s press service, freight trucks travelling from Uzbekistan to Iran and vice versa must travel in a column and will be escorted by Turkmen traffic police when traversing Turkmenistan’s territory.

The Turkmen authorities, notably Turkmenistan’s Road Transport Agency, will provide essential technical and other assistance if any vehicle in the column breaks down, the ministry said, adding that drivers must submit their negative PCR test results and vaccination certificates.
